Dear Peter,

It is with deep sadness that I’ve learned of your passing. I want you to know how much of an impact you had on me during the 1990s. You and Joachim helped shape who I am today.

I’ve wanted to thank you many times not just on my behalf, but also from Joel and the many other boys from your youth team. You were an incredible coach who always gave everything for us. You believed in us, supported us, and taught us not only about football, but about dedication, discipline, and respect and that's not always about winning.

I want your children and your wife to know what a great coach and person you were. You made a lasting impression on all of us.

Wherever you are now, I hope those around you see what we saw that you were one of the best youth Coaches ever.
